My neighbor parked his E30 on my street today (I was home sick) and for the first time I got to hear it. Pretty good noise - even at low RPMs. Unfortunately, I also got my first look at that neighbor. 3 Words: “Track day, bro!”. Doh!

There are a few of us BMW people that aren’t like that...we have to stick together, most of the others aren’t people I’d like to spend time with haha

This is an excellent post, it really makes me want to finish my BMW project to hear it again.
The sound is the one thing I miss from my e39 M5 that I replaced with a Mini R56 JCW.
